What holidays will the daycare be closed this year?
Martin Luther King Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve
Do children get a nap or rest time each day?
All children under the age of 5 will have a rest period. No child is forced to sleep. Older children and those who wake up early will participate in a quiet activity until rest time is over?
Do all the children sleep in the same area?
Children will sleep in the play area. Infants will sleep in the infant area. Infants are monitored as they nap.
Will I receive a copy of the policies of Henny's Bright Future Daycare in case I have any questions?
Yes. We will provide you with a Parent Handbook that outlines all of our policies including our illness policy, toilet learning, supplies you will provide and what medical records parents must provide. This information is available on the Parent Portal on our website.
What is your Toilet Learning policy?
We will assist in toilet training for your child with the understanding it will be successful only if we work together. Parents will provide underwar or pull ups. All soiled items will be sent home in a plastic bag. Parents should replace any clothing sent home on the next day.
What are your hours of operation?
Generally, we are open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Specific times and daily schedules will be provided to all students with specific details for your child’s program.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept subsidy government help, certified checks, and debit and credit card payments.
Does your staff have CPR certification?
For the safety of your children, we do have staff that is certified in CPR.
Is the outdoor play area fenced in?
Yes. The entire outdoor play area is completely fenced in with a privacy fence.
How do you clean the toys used by the children?
We regularly clean the toys with soapy water and wipe them down with diluted bleach. We follow manufacturer instructions for proper ratio of cleaning solutions. Each toy label is checked for specific guidelines.
Do you offer tours of your daycare?
Yes. We offer tours of our daycare. The preferred time for Saturday or Sunday visits is early in the day. We also offer tours after 6pm on days when we are open. Please contact us to set up an appointment.
Is Henny's Bright Future Daycare registered with the state of New York?
Yes. Henny’s Bright Future Daycare is registered and licensed. Our New York State License is #925533.
Do you offer a discount for siblings?
We do not offer a discount for multiple children from the same family at this time.
Do you offer Spanish speaking teachers and staff?
Yes. We have Spanish speaking teachers available to assist your child in Spanish if needed.
